Okay, so 200 comic strips is just a drop in the bucket to most real cartoonists. For those who do dailies, it doesn't even amount to a year's work. But for me, this is a big number, worth over four years of steady drawing and writing, and continually trying to be better. True, I have a readership of maybe two dozen and make nary a dime from this crazy monster strip, but hey, at least it's fun. Here's hoping you've been having fun also.Maybe, if I'm lucky, we'll all make it to three hundred.

The heartbreak of teensy arms
News on the book is as follows: original publisher was crap, and expensive crap at that. Since I can't justify charging what I'd have to charge for the book, I have to look for local publishers. My former boss at the comic/record shop wants to help me out, as he has contacts in printing and distributing. Sadly, this means still more delays. It's a wonder anyone gets anything done in these strange modern times. Onward!

The case of the missing stuffy
Apologies to anyone waiting for the long-promised book -- the company printing it has sent me a copy of my own to preview, but of course, it's taking flipping FOREVER. I ordered it July 30th and it's still in transit. Hopefully all will go well and I'll be able to put it up for sale soon, but in the meantime, please enjoy the weekly comics and write in to say what's on your mind!

The book is done, folks! I'm just waiting for my copy to come so I can quality check it, but after that, it'll be available locally and online for all my six or seven readers to enjoy! Stay tuned, kids.

Good Golly, it's a review!
Hello all! Just dropping a quick line to share a piece from Synchronized Chaos Magazine, which is running my strip this month in addition to other, brilliantly provocative articles and artworks. It's humbling to be seen alongside such thoughtful, graceful artists and writers.
Nevertheless, they had this to say...
"We often find it difficult to understand ourselves and our own motivations and desires, much less outside reality. Hawaiian comic artist Kit Fox renders her personal artistic journey through her black and white strip, intentionally appropriating a ‘cute’ childish sensibility and style of humor. This, combined with Fox’s unassuming self-mockery, and the realistic curves on her human and animal characters, creates a warm, human sensibility which opens viewers up to her relatively honest psychological exploration."
My stars, I had no idea I was so deep! I guess I really AM a bit brilliant, aren't I?
The magazine can be found here and is updated monthly. Check it out!
